After the Fan Tan, there will be one person that has the most cards - or the most pairs of cards and they will win the game.    Roulette is a different option for those who want to get a fan-tan. The dealer will draw the cards first, and the player betting on the outcome of the deal will place their bet prior to anyone else. The player who bets the cards will be dealt will have to place their bet prior to any other player. Otherwise the game will be over and nobody will get a fan-tan.    If you play Fan Tan with other people who don't know the rules, the fun can get wild. For example, one person may be blindfolded at beginning of the game, however, another player might be able to be able to see that the player is actually holding a seven. The blindfold will be revealed, and the player will be able to place sevens prior to anyone else. Before the blindfold can be removed, however, other players must call their bets before the blindfold is lifted. Sometimes, all sevens are needed to win, however sometimes only one or two. It's definitely worth the effort!    Fan Tan's crazy feature is that players can keep their bets secret but only after the blindfold has been removed. Anyone can see what other players bet on and how much they're worth, even though it isn't obvious to the naked eye. If you have ten dollars and someone wants to bet on an eight, they aren't able to reveal it because your card hasn't yet been dealt. This rule could lead to some exciting fights!
